OUR TEAM
At Unbound Earth School, we firmly know that children learn through the models around them. Our job as facilitators and models is to show up as our best selves each and every day after checking in and utilizing self-awareness. No one is perfect but we strive to stay as true to ourselves as possible in order to hold space for others. That’s an intention that will be followed through on every single day.
AMBER SIMONS
Director & Lead Facilitator
My experience in the community ranges from Mom, to yoga, breathwork & meditation teacher to Nature Nanny and beyond. I love being outdoors as much as possible and finding the next adventure that life takes me to. I'm a Taurus sun, Gemini moon and Leo rising. I love music, movement, cooking, foraging, sustainability, and brain puzzles (not so much the traditional puzzle haha).
I began formal work in education/with children when I was an assistant in primary-upper elementary classrooms, as well as being the infant facilitator in the afternoon program at The Montessori School of Camden. I began to refine what correlated with my values and took that to my next gig at Peaceful Gatherings Nature School for a year and a half.
In 2022 I blended all of my strengths, passions and values into one big community project as Unbound Earth School! It has been highly rewarding to watch the learners I serve grow and blossom in an environment that is grounding and interest-led.

I am so excited to bring friends together to learn and grow alongside one another, forever remaining a student of the Earth myself.
ASHLEY HUDSON
Lead Facilitator
Lexington Classroom
Hi, I’m Ashley! My spouse and I live on my family’s small homestead in Lexington, SC where we currently have seven horses, along with some dogs and cats. In the future we are looking to start raising chickens as well as bees. I love gardening, cooking and baking, reading, music, and photography.
Over the years I have worked caring for others in some form or fashion across all ages. For years I worked nannying full time and most recently I moved to the other end of the spectrum doing in home elder care. While the days could be long and sometimes hard, the hardest part of working with the elderly was saying good bye in the end. I loved the lady I cared for as well as her family, and I learned so much in that role but I knew at the end of the day I would want to eventually work with kids again as that has always been where my passion truly lied.
I have so much gratitude for Unbound Earth School for cultivating this space to learn and grow- not just for our young learners, but for facilitators as well. I truly feel blessed at being given the opportunity to help provide a safe environment for kids to explore the world, develop their own interests and forge their own path all while learning important life skills that will serve them for years to come.
