POP-UP CLASS: Rammed Earth

In this pop-up class, we will be going over the process of construction with the ancient building practice of Rammed Earth. In this class, you will learn how to: -Level and Prepare a Foundation -Build Formwork for a Rammed Earth Wall -Limewash Concrete Blocks

-Prepare a Rammed Earth Mixture -Construct Rammed Earth Walls In the form of an outdoor firepit. Please bring drinking water, a picnic lunch, closed-toe shoes, comfortable clothing for the weather, PPE such as work gloves, safety goggles and a mask/respirator. It is okay if you do not have these items. You will still be able to watch and participate in most components.
