About the event
This workshop is designed for anyone interested in community-led learning, and/or Earthen Oven construction
Earthen Oven construction & functionality organically creates community resilience, deeper connection on all levels, & endless educational opportunities which paves the path to truly equitable outcomes.
In this workshop, you will:
-Learn the history of Earthen Ovens & Cob as well as modern applications
-Receive hands-on instruction and practice on how to construct an oven (Overview of Foundations, Cob, Insulation, Sculpting & Plasters), with an opportunity to join our immersive training for Fall 2026 to receive an Earthen Oven Building Certification.
-Learn how to assess the needs of your community & what community-led learning is
